Christmas 2009
This past holiday season was definitely fun-filled. We enjoyed the Christmas spirit by driving around Denver with our best friends looking at beautiful holiday lights, making gingerbread houses, and enjoying a white Christmas. Also, Patrick finally got the TV of his dreams (it's so big we had to get it with our moving truck before we returned the truck because it wouldn't fit in our car). He has been dreaming of this TV for years, but previously we had nowhere to put it. Now, though, we have the perfect spot for it right above our fireplace. Patrick even built a shelf for all the TV components. It might be his baby, but I've also gotten a lot of enjoyment out of the behemoth. Who's to say big TVs are a guy thing?
Our gingerbread house. It has a balcony! This was my first time making one, so I put the engineer in charge of the construction. I was in charge of candy quality control. I got rid of the ones that weren't good enough to go on our house.

Another comment for you to read day after day...Sweet photo of the Courthouse's classy holiday lighting! Anybody reading this - Denver's lights get better than that...just when they're not paid for by the government, ha! I think some of those tree light hanger-uppers that decorated the fancy neighborhoods should have been contracted out for this job.
